“ Let's start with the service! The service is great and the staff are the best. This place can get busy any night but especially on the weekends but rest assured you will still get great service. Enjoy great drinks from the bar and be sure to try my favorite the Espresso martini. I'll make the food selection easy for you. Truffle burger, Smash burger and Thai wings are my go-to but you can't miss with anything on the menu. Check their Facebook page for live music nights. Always a good place for date night. Enjoy! ”
“ I've eaten here twice recently. Once for dinner (happy hour) we had clam chowder, poke nachos- hello! , and rosemary garlic fries! Also for breakfast, berry Belgian waffle - it was somewhere between okay and good. Service is always great! My two complaints are how dark it is, have to use my phone to see the menu! Us old folks don't see well! And the seats by the garage doors are absolutely freezing! ”
“ A great spot for Sunday football since they have all day Sunday happy hour deals! HH half sized Poke nachos was surprisingly good & a good size! Steal for $8 appetizer They also have $10 smash burger with fries that is pretty good! Protip the truffle smash comes with some satueed mushroom & great for lovers ”
“ Food was amazing. Had 7 piece wings and wife had the apple salad. Excellent Service and Great ambiance. Solid choice to watch football and have a date night nite. This is one of our favorite spots. ”
“ This is by far still my favorite restaurant in Olympia! The best service the best food the best atmosphere. It's just really fun. They have really delicious drinks. I will never not recommend this place if you've never eaten in Olympia before and I'll probably recommend it even if you have. This chowder is the best I've ever had on any oceanfront any waterfront anywhere. The mac & cheese had such a great pull, and was delicious. The salad was hearty and filling. ”
“ Wow! The restaurant itself is very nicely set up and has a really good vibe. Our server Jason gave us the best service I have received in a long time. We were there for lunch on a Wednesday, arrived at about 11:50 and Jason told us happy hour starts at noon. He took our drink orders, I had to have the Strawberry Bliss Drop which was delicious and as a bonus was pretty. At noon Jason took our food orders so we'd get the Happy Hour price. I had a single patty smash burger on a really nice bun with a side of garlic rosemary fries. Everything was so good. The smash burger and fries was $10 and my delicious cocktail was $10 so I had a great meal with an excellent server and a comfy restaurant downtown for only $21.96 Of course I'll be back and recommend Cove to everyone looking for great food and drinks. ”
“ Cove in Olympia was open late and had a Happy Hour menu that we were interested in. Typical Sports Bar with a lot of tvs, music, food, and alcohol. Our server was nice, friendly, and helpful. She suggested a few of her favorite dishes. Bowl of King Chowder: geoduck, quahog clam, leeks, potatoes, & bacon (4/5). Loaded with so many clams! Thick, flavorful, and creamy. I'd get this again! Cup of Tomato Bisque (2.5/5). Sorry, this wasn't rich like I thought. No offense, I thought this tasted like thick bland spaghetti sauce. Brussel Sprouts: kimchi spice w/hot honey (5/5). Charred sprouts and the hot honey is soooo good! I couldn't stop eating this! Half Steamers: Manila clams, chorizo, in garlic, white wine, butter sauce (4/5). This was a small dish but very flavorful and delicious. Scampi Toast: prawns, garlic, tomato, white wine, parsley, red chili flakes, parm, served on sourdough (4/5). 1 Fish & Chips: house breaded cod served with fries and tarter (4/5). Nicely fried, and flakey fish. The fries were nice and crispy. Hazy IPA - "this was ok a bit bitter, not as sweet as other IPAs." Honey Lavender Lemonade. This was florally and tasty. ”
“ Last night I had the pleasure of dinning at COVE Restaurant, and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set a relaxed yet sophisticated tone, with a modern charm. Wedge Salad: The wedge salad was a delightful start to the meal. The crispness of the iceberg lettuce was a refreshing contrast to the rich and creamy blue cheese dressing. The beacon bits were perfectly crispy the cherry tomatoes added that burst of freshness, making each bite a satisfying blend of texture and flavors. Clam Chowder: Next up was the clam chowder, and it was exceptional. This classic dish was served hot, with a creamy base that was not overly heavy. The clams were tender and plentiful, and the chunks of potato were cooked to perfection. The hint of smokiness from the beacon added depth to the flavor. Fish Tacos: The main course, fish tacos were a stand out. Blackened Cod grilled to perfection and seasoned with a blend of spices that highlighted the natural flavors without overpowering them. Each bite was a delightful fusion of textures and the accompanying salsa and lime wedges added an extra layer of brightness. Overall experience: The service throughout the evening was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall enjoyable dining experience. If you find yourself in Olympia and are looking for a good meal that combines a cozy atmosphere with a menu that celebrates local flavors, COVE is definitely worth a visit. ”
“ I've been wanting to try this place for a while but parking is difficult and it's super busy during the weekends. I finally got in on time today and found it pleasantly empty when I arrived. I was seated promptly, the waitress waited an appropriate time to let me view the menu, and they brought me an ice water as soon as I sat down. I had the apple Gorgonzola salad to start. The lettuce mixture is appropriate for the style of dish and everything was finely diced. I felt that there was a slight imbalance though. Maybe not enough apples or walnuts? I also had the steak and eggs and a side of the triple berry compote waffle. The steak was delicious, cooked perfectly with decent seasoning. The cook knows what over medium eggs are, which is rare. The arugula under the steak is a perfect match as the peppery taste works well. The triple berry compote is good but a bit too sweet and sour at the same time. The cream appears homemade and is delightful. The waffle didn't seem to have any specific taste to it. As for the dining area? It's a big open warehouse space with concrete floors and tables and chairs set up. There's no privacy and the music is very... modern. It kind of felt like I was sitting in TikTok and listening to the music people put in their videos. Not horrible. Garage doors decorate the front of the house but were not open, which I'm thankful because of flies. Overall, I would definitely come back. The cook knows their business, the staff is friendly, and the menu is appealing. ”
“ Stopped here for a quick a bite on a late Sunday afternoon. We arrived in time for happy hour. We had the fish tostada, scampi toast and roasted brussels sprouts. All were good. I particularly liked the Winter Punch Mocktail, which was not super sweet. Service was friendly and a little underwhelming. We had to track down our server a couple of times. ”
